Prime Yellow Carnauba Wax – Type 1
Unit Weight in kg: 1
Description
Type 1 Prime Yellow Carnauba Wax is a pale yellow natural hard wax suitable for cosmetic, food and pharmaceutical applications.
Carnauba Wax is obtained from the leaves of the ‘Tree of Life’ Copernica Cerifera which is indigenous to Northern Brazil. The colour and quality of this product is determined by the age of the leaves and the process of extraction. Type 1 is the lightest and purest of the grades of carnauba wax, having been extracted from the youngest leaves.
Carnauba Wax is the hardest of natural waxes and due to its gloss, hardness and broad compatibility with oils and other waxes, the wax is used as a release agent and coating material in the food industry, particularly in confectionery, chocolate, fruits, chewing gum, nuts, nutritional supplements, coffee beans, and baked goods. Other application areas of carnauba wax include paints, printing inks, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food, leather and shoe care, and wood care.
6001 Carnauba Wax Type 1 is light in colour and available in flake or powder format.
We also supply Type 3 Carnauba Wax in flake and powder form, Type 4 Carnauba Wax in flake format, and Type 1 Organic Carnauba Wax in flake form.
