Microcrystalline Wax

Microcrystalline waxes are derived from crude oil and have very minute crystals (microcrystalline). Microcrystalline waxes are flexible due to their crystal structure and have a greater affinity for oil. This is held tightly in the crystalline lattice and does not migrate to the surface.

British Wax stocks a variety of Microcrystalline Waxes for a multitude of uses. Main uses for Microcrystalline wax include cosmetic, pharmaceutical, coatings, hot-melt adhesives, art and sculpture and candles. Microcrystalline waxes are compatible with most mineral and vegetable waxes. They are also compatible to a variety of natural and synthetic resins.
